Title: Session on Interview and SOP (Soft Skill Training) for final year BA HEP

Dr Vineeth Thomas, Professor, the Department of International Studies, Political Science and History, organized a 5-hour training workshop for the students of 6HEP in the New Year. The Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS) conducted the training sessions over 3 days. The sessions conducted by Mr Rinu Varghese, Mr Daniel John and Ms. Rincy Daniel, were insightful and detailed. The students of 6HEP were trained in researching skills, steps to write a Journal Articles, skills to ace an Interview, ways to write an effective statement of purpose and the art of pitching ideas.  It would be no exaggeration to say that these training sessions conducted by CAPS, prepared us for our future and guided us on how to leave our unique mark in the career path we choose.  These sessions not only educated us how to conduct research and improve our writing skills, but also on how to present our ideas and thoughts. The students of 6HEP wish to express our gratitude to our trainers, Mr Rinu Varghese, Mr Daniel John and Ms Rincy Daniel, our Professor Dr Vineeth Thomas and the Department of International Studies, Political Science and History for conducting and organizing the wholesome training workshops.
